Welcome to Psydes, operated by Burghard Design ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using Psydes, you agree to these Terms of Service.
Use AR features only in safe, open areas. Always remain aware of your surroundings. Do not use Psydes while walking, driving, or operating machinery. Stop immediately if you experience dizziness, discomfort, or disorientation.
Users under 13 require parental supervision when using AR features.
Device Sharing: You are responsible for ensuring anyone who uses your device or account has read and agreed to these terms. Do not allow others to use AR features without reviewing safety guidelines with them first.
Psydes and Burghard Design are not responsible for injuries or damages that may occur during use of AR features.
Violations may result in account termination without refund.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Psydes, or have parental consent if under 18. You must be at least 18 years old to post or participate in community features (stories, word-cloud echoes, and messages).
Each physical Psydes card contains a unique serial number that can be claimed by one user at a time. Claiming a card grants you a limited, non-transferable license to view the associated AR content. You do not own the digital content — only the right to access it through your verified account.
Physical cards may be resold or transferred between collectors through the Psydes marketplace. The digital claim follows the physical card: the new owner gains access by claiming the card's serial with their own account.
Psydes community spaces connect fans who own the same collectible card. Community content includes stories, word-cloud echoes, messages, and anything else you post or share in the app. Psydes has a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. By posting or viewing community content, you agree to the following:
Prohibited Content:
Moderation: All community content — including stories and echoes — is automatically screened on submission. Content containing prohibited material is removed immediately without notice.
Reporting & Blocking: You may report any content using the flag button. You may block other users at any time to hide their content from your view. We review reported content and act on violations, typically within 24 hours.
Consequences:
Posting bans do not affect your ability to own cards or view AR content — only your ability to post community content.
No Expectation of Privacy: Community spaces are shared. Do not post personal information. Psydes may review flagged content for moderation purposes.
Your use of Psydes is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect account information, device data, and usage information to provide and improve the service. Camera access is required for AR but no footage is recorded or transmitted. We use industry-standard security and never sell your data.
All content within Psydes — including AR experiences, videos, artwork, and the app itself — remains the property of Burghard Design and respective artists. You receive a limited, non-transferable license to view content only.
Do not record, distribute, screenshot, or reproduce AR content. Unauthorized reproduction may result in account termination and legal action.
Physical Psydes cards may be resold or transferred between collectors through the Psydes marketplace. Because access to a card's digital content is tied to claiming its physical serial:
Psydes is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, device issues, or injuries related to AR use.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. Content availability may change as collections are updated.
You may delete your account at any time through the app's Account settings. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All cards in your collection will become available for others to claim.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of Psydes after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the app.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States.
