Burghard Design ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Psydes mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, username, display name, and date of birth. Date of birth is used solely to verify you meet our minimum age requirement (13 years).
Device Information: We collect device identifiers, device model, and iOS version to manage your trusted devices (maximum 3 per account) and provide technical support.
Usage Information: We collect information about how you interact with the app, including which collections you own, which experiences you view, and your favorites. This helps us provide and improve the AR experiences.
Camera Access: The app requires camera access to provide augmented reality experiences. We do not record, store, or transmit any camera footage. Camera data is processed entirely on your device in real-time.
Chat Messages: If you use the Connections chat feature, your messages are stored to provide the chat service. Messages are monitored for violations of our Community Guidelines.
Profile Photo: If you upload a profile photo, it is stored securely in our cloud storage and visible to other authenticated users.
Push Notification Tokens: If you enable push notifications, we store your device token to send you relevant notifications about your collections and transfers.
Your data is stored using Google Firebase services, which employ industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest. We use Firebase Authentication for secure login, Firestore for data storage, and Firebase Storage for media files.
Sensitive credentials are stored in your device's secure Keychain, not in plain text.

Psydes requires users to be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users under 18 must have parental consent. The chat feature requires users to be at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has created an account, we will delete it promptly.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we permanently remove your profile data, device records, and collection ownership. Some data may be retained in anonymized audit logs for security and abuse prevention purposes.
